Poetry is Not a Luxury Features

The following interviews with some of our favorite poets is part of our ongoing series Poetry Is Not A Luxury, in which we invite poets to meditate on how poetry informs their lives, how it can help people, and why it is never, as Audre Lorde so powerfully articulated, a luxury. Through their reflections, these poets illuminate the nature of the poetic art and its connections to mindfulness and the principles of neuro-aesthetics, in deep accord with the mission of Engaging the Senses Foundation.
